There are several players in manufacturing and marketing of these products. These embedded mini flash drives may be called by different names such as Mini IDE, MIDE, Micro IDE, DiskOnChip IDE, ATA-Disk Chip, IDE Flash Module, Drive On Module (DOM), Mini_IDE, Flash Disk Module, etc.
PSI supplies three brands for your better
selection. Click on the brand to jump forward. Both standard commercial
temperature and wide-temperature
mini IDE flash disk modules are offered. Depending on your applications, you may choose
either the vertical or horizontal version.
Horizontal drives normally do
not have an enclosure. We only
offer flash storage products that are

standards.
PSI-APRO 3.3V/5V Micro IDE Flash
Modules:
40 and 44-pin female IDE connector, vertical and horizontal
configurations with operating limits of commercial temperature (0 - +70 deg C) or industrial
temperature (-40 - +85 deg C). Shock: 1500G; Vibration: 20G. Meets MIL-STD 810F
standards. All
are RoHS-compliant.
Most of the parts listed below are made-to-order
only and there is a 2 -3 weeks lead time. If you need the drives urgently
and are willing to pay extra shipping costs, we may be able to arrange a drop
ship from our manufacturer to you directly.
Depending on the connector orientation, the horizontal micro IDE flash modules supplied by APRO have "Rightwards" and "Leftwards" versions. Please check the pin 1 location on your motherboard and compare with the figure below.

1. The RoHS-compliant Titans series Micro-IDE flash drives below support either PIO (up to 45x speed) or
UDMA-4 (up to 150x speed) mode. Please find specs here.

3. Not all IDE sockets can support UDMA
mode. If you are sure your socket can
support the UDMA mode and your application requires up to UDMA-4 speed,
please choose parts with -U or -A suffix. Data Transfer Rate: IDE interface is always Fixed Disk Mode

U: defaulted as UDMA-4 Mode/fixed disk type
A: Auto
detect PIO or UDMA data mode. (for Hermit series drives)
4. APRO's cards are made-to-order only. Orders are non-returnable and
non-exchangeable so make sure you have the right part and/or pre-approve the
samples before quantity order. Defective cards are covered by manufacturer's warranty.

Supports PIO- 4 mode (16.6
MB/sec) or
UDMA-4 (66.6 MB/sec) and wear-leveling. Please choose either -P or -U
part.
For Hermit series
drives, from 128MB up to 8GB, part # with -A suffix support PIO and UDMA modes.
-P Suffix: Supports up to PIO-4. Speed is slower but compatible with most boards.
-U Suffix: Supports UDMA-4 mode. Speed is faster but some old boards may not support
-A Suffix: Auto detect PIO or UDMA Mode, for Hermit series drives.
C-ONE’s
Tiger series MINI- IDE flash drives use NAND-Type flash memory devices, which
leads to its remarkable high performance and comes with capacities from
128 MB to 8GB unformatted.
Compliant with ISA (Industrial Standard
Architecture) bus interface standard, the S-CN IDE Card performs
sequential read/write for each sector (512 bytes) count. It also conforms
to IDE Specification and is designed with precision mechanics to enable
host devices to read/write from the IDE interface into Flash Media. It can
operate with a 5V single power from the host side.
The drives
provide extraordinary memory medium for PCs. C-ONE’s IDE Card has been
